1. An introduction to the key concepts of aesthetics (history of notions of beauty and sublime).
2. The meaning of art and artisanship from antiquity to contemporary times. Foundation of the concept of art in Kant's aesthetics. Kant's emphasis on the beauty in nature and Hegel's emphasis on the beauty in human spirit.
3. Modern and contemporary theories in aesthetics: evolutionary aesthetics, aesthetics of nature, environmental aesthetics, everyday aesthetics.
