2nd cycle Andragogy (teacher education programme)

Content

Students who complete the Andragogy MA programme will acquire general knowledge in humanities, and gain competencies specific to their studies. They will enable them to understand the relationships between various adult learning phenomena and processes. Through the acquisition of subject-specific competences, students will deal with various issues arising from these relationships and be able to understand and implement adult learnin as a social and personal process.

Graduates of the programme are qualified to research and develop the theory and practise of adult education. They are actively involved in scientific development and are prepared to deal with adult education issues related to the organisation and management of educational projects and institutions, as well as to develop educational programmes, provide independent guidance and use other methods for the education of adults.

P = Lectures; S = Seminars; V = Tutorials; D = Other forms of organized study work (practical training, observations, performances, field work, etc.); KT = ECTS credit (Credit points according to the European Credit Transfer System). 1 ECTS credit means 25 to 30 hours of student workload.
