1. Cultural-philosophical genealogy of contemporary ethical problems.
2. Function and the meaning of the crisis. Critical status of traditional ethical principles and values within contemporary society (freedom, dignity, happiness, justice, virtues…) and the meaning of person.
3. The principal part of the lectures is devoted to the presentation of basic bioethical problems and critical superstructuring of ethical theories of nature, environment, life viz. entities.
a) controversy among Biocentrists (particularly deep ecology), Pathocentrists and Anthropocentrists.
b) conceptual-terminological difference between environment, nature and life as well as between secondary and primary responsibility. Human ambivalent relation to society, nature and life and the moral-ethical dilemmas.
c) Diaphoric Ethics of Nature (the body as the mediator between nature and mind)
d) Ethics of Life and the possibility of solving ethical dilemmas of traditional and postmodern conceptualisations.
e) Broadening of traditional ethics of human relationships in the direction of universal ethics of being and entities (Schweitzer, Jonas).
