Field of research

Translation Studies in the Field of Czech and Slovenian Literature: an interdisciplinary field focusing on the analysis and interpretation of literary works of Czech and Slovenian literature in terms of translation theory, translation strategy and method with a comparative aspect of Slavic literatures (Czech and Slovenian).

Czech-Slovenian Literary Relations: An area that focuses on the analysis of cultural transmission and translation and on the critical evaluation of literary translation. The articles focuses primarily on the reception of Slovenian literature in the Czech cultural space and vice versa.

Other professional activities

Membership on the editorial boards of scientific journals: member of the editorial board of the Slavica Slovenica book collection, no. 2, 2017, Scientific Publishing House of the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana.

Review work: reviewing of articles for the periodical Studio Slavica, University of Ostrava, Faculty of Arts, since 2015.

Educational and organizational work: Translation Competition for young translators (Western Slavic Literature) at the Department of Slavic Studies, FF UL, 2005–2015. Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana (coordinator).
